The Project
A case study project for a brief from the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD), exploring the subject of fakery. My response was a series of infographics which illustrate the ‘borrowing’ culture that surrounds the history of typefaces; pre and post digital.
The Brief
To explore the wonderful world of ‘fakery’ and surprise us with your ingenuity and lateral thinking. Use print, screen, combined media – the choice is yours – as long as it has a solid idea, informs and shows your typographic skills. Remember that words and language are our collateral and that your submission should be essentially typographic.
